Deep Creek Marina
& Murray River’s Edge
About
River’s Edge & Community Area
The River’s Edge area forms an important part of the broader Deep Creek Marina community and carries a long connection to the Murray River.
In the 1990s, land along the Murray River near Deep Creek was further developed into a marina and tourism precinct. This development introduced berths, wharves, and public spaces designed to improve access to the river while supporting both residential living and visitor accommodation.
Today, the River’s Edge area encompasses a mix of short-stay accommodation, permanent housing, and holiday homes, creating a diverse and active riverside precinct. It provides modern access to the Murray River for boating, fishing, recreation, and leisure, while remaining closely connected to the Deep Creek Marina environment.
River’s Edge reflects the evolution of the area , from early river transport and settlement, through marina development, to a contemporary riverside community. It remains an integral part of the Deep Creek Marina setting, contributing to the character, accessibility, and ongoing life of the riverfront.

Inside, you’ll find hearty pub favourites done well, famous for generous parmas, hot chips, and easy-going meals that hit the spot after a day on the water. It’s relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious a true river pub where simple food, cold drinks, and great views come together.

Deep Creek Marina is more than a location. It is a shared place, shaped by the river and by the people who live alongside it. Deep Creek Marina is a unique riverside marina community located in Moama, on the Murray River, offering a rare blend of permanent living, 86 houseboat moorings, and connection to one of Australia’s most iconic waterways.
Established as a purpose-built marina, Deep Creek Marina has grown over time into a close-knit community of residents, owners, and visitors who share a love of river life, the natural environment, and the quieter rhythms that come with living on the water.
The marina has long been valued for its peaceful setting, access to the Murray, and the sense of independence and lifestyle it offers those who call it home or visit regularly.
Like many long-standing communities, Deep Creek Marina has experienced change over the years. Today, we are focused on strengthening the marina as a well-run, transparent, and connected community, one that supports residents, protects the environment, and communicates clearly and respectfully.
Our aim now is to:
Provide clear and reliable information for residents and owners
Support safe, sustainable, and environmentally responsible marina operations
Foster positive community relationships and shared responsibility
Create a welcoming, inclusive space for communication and connection
Preserve the unique character of Deep Creek Marina for future generations
